The rotating culinary concept not only keeps things fresh but also creates a space where diverse cuisines can shine. “ This was so so good. Honestly the chicken soup was the standout, with plenty of lime and cilantro. It was perfect, and the papusas were creative and tasty. Love the concept for this place and you can't beat the atmosphere at Bow Market. ”
“ Really good food and great staff. Based on food alone, I’d put it in the 4 star category (see below). The mission of the place, the rotating menu, and the clear passion of the people running it would make me so happy to recommend it and keep trying the different cuisines, putting it into the 5 star range. Impressive that they can do what they do so well while essentially running several different restaurants… 1 star = never go back 2 star = would go if a friend wanted to 3 star = would go myself if it hit the particular craving i wanted. Average 4 star = good food. Acceptable or better service. Would go again and recommend 5 star = does what it does very well. Great all around. Would frequent ”
“ Currently, this place is Nagomi Bento on Wed-Friday. Pork-Katsu Sandwich was amazing. They are making their bread from scratch in house. Kara-age, fried tofu, and salmon bento were super good. Vegetarian options were also there (eggplant). They were doing Matcha special drinks right now too. Very reasonable price for the quality and quantity. Highly recommend!!! ”
“ June 2024: Great place to check out and indulge in a great cooks food. Owner was very busy and line was long increasing wait time, but I promise its worth the weight. Def some Caribbean local food. The owner is so sweet and you can tell there is a lot of love in the food! ”
“ We loved the Boukannen Afro-Haitian cuisine! The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were so delicious, and the portions were generous. We loved the drinks (lemonade/mint and passion fruit) as well! The owner Mimie was so kind to us and offered us samples to taste to ensure we loved what we ordered. ”
“ Being only open for 2.5 hours once a week, Matcha Boy is a bit of an elusive find inside Nibble Kitchen at Bow Market. However, it's worth visiting if you can catch the window. The staff was super friendly and walked me through the menu. I was between the Azuki Matcha Latte or the CHAffogato but ultimately decided to go for the latter since it's not something I've seen at a matcha spot before. For $6, I got a cup of sweet vanilla ice cream drowned in some hot hojicha. I originally thought that they would give me the hojicha separately to pour myself, but they do it for you before handing over your order, so be sure to have your camera ready if you are interested in recording (I missed my opportunity haha). The ice cream was rich and the perfect amount of sweetness, which is what I love the most about Asian desserts. It also had bits of ice that added some texture variety with each bite. The hojicha added a subtle nuttiness that elevated the ice cream. If I had a biscotto or cookie to top this off, it would have been perfect. Overall, I am really happy that I got to try this dessert, and I'll definitely be back to try the Azuki Matcha Latte. ”
“ I liked their concept of having rotational menus allowing different chefs to have a place to cook and present their cuisine. Definitely a concept that needs more attention and visibility in the Boston food scene. I can’t remember what I’d ordered but it was delicious. ”
“ I love the concept of having a rotating menu featuring local chefs; what a great way to highlight different cuisines! As a Filipino, I love to see some pinoy representation, so I came for lunch on Wednesday and got the pancit with lumpia and a calamansi drink. The drink was very refreshing, and the food was delicious! I especially loved the lumpia, it was so crispy and cooked perfectly. Pancit was also very good. The staff was super nice as well. I'm very glad I came and hope to visit again in the future ???????? Sarap! ”
